Note for the Honorable Judge Claudia Wilken

Dear Honorable Judge Claudia Wilken, I used to very much believe in America. I thought that the laws in place, the judicial system, and the entire process wasn't perfect but was at least well intentioned and the best possible. Thanks to the unbelievably outrageous behaviors of the DEA that lead to your court, I forever will now realize the corruption of a land gone sour. The DEA's stance that marijuana has no medicinal value despite scientific proof that this premise is false implies more than ignorance but downright corruption and a way for a useless organization to keep milking taxpayers to fund their terrorist tactics. The DEA should be tried for their ongoing harassment of and cruelty to people like Mickey Martin who provide relief to people suffering from any number of debilitating conditions. It was edibles provided by Martin that allowed me to survive a hospitalization a few years back when as a long term survivor of AIDS I found myself being eaten alive by MRSA. Without the benefits of marijuana my suffering would have been greatly increased and I still regularly use marijuana in my ongoing battle with AIDS that nothing from the federally approved list of drugs put out by notoriously greedy and manipulative pharmaceutical companies seems to be able to cure. I applaud Mickey Martin for his gutsy stance in providing relief to so many seriously ill people like myself who find no comfort from the system you stand for. I understand you are in a position forced to uphold outdated cannabis laws but hopefully you haven't lost touch with your humanity in the process. Please understand the needs of so many that are being destroyed for some power motivated career climbing DEA agents and show leniency in your sentencing of Mickey Martin, a good person motivated by compassion who is an unfortunate victim of a broken system's inability to recognize justice.
