Up to LETTERS TO THE JUDGE FOR SENTENCING
Universal Life Ministries Coexistence through Religious Respect Reverend Glenn M. Roland P.O. Box 5727 Santa Monica, CA 90409-5727 To the Honorable Judge Wilken, I am Reverend G.M. Roland of Universal Life Ministries. I am writing to you in regard to an upcoming Sentencing of Mickey Martin. Mr. Martin has been known to me for almost 5 years, personally and in a caregiving capacity through our ministries. Mr. Martin has always donated to local causes, such as the local Police Athletic Leagues (Anonymously of course), Community Service (We Cleaned / Repainted 11 Senior Citizen’s houses in 2007), and Christian Family Beliefs. I cannot interpret the law, that is the job that the Government has thrust upon your shoulders. But I can interpret the Human Heart. Mickey got into helping people after the passage of the Compassionate Use Act of 1996. When we lost one of our most beloved activists on April 10th 1999 (Brownie Mary Rathbun), Mickey stepped up to help those who were suffering the worst. I pray that you will find it in your power to temper your Sentencing Judgment with mercy and leniency. May the good Lord bless and Keep you Rev. Glenn M. Roland
