The incredible wisdom of a country once torn and a leader who had the insight to bring it together for the good of all men.  We now face similar circumstances, in a country that in seemingly divided and a government needs direction.  

Lincoln also says:

"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world. "

I think a lot of people in this country have forgotten the power of the people and our rights to create a government that we all can believe in.  It has become the practice of politicians and legislators to serve the interests of people with big pockets, and have created legislation that keeps the masses in fear and demoralized.  It is easier to control people when they are indebted, unhealthy, and misinformed.  We continue to see these practices instilled in our daily lives and it is time we learned to make wiser decisions about who we put in office.  These critical decisions have left our country financially and morally bankrupt.  We must begin to rise up and create a more level playing field for the people of this great nation.
